Stocks Round Up | 138 Student Living, Portland JSX and Everything Fresh today's top advancers

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index continued its decline, again losing ground on Wednesday.

Stocks declined on bustling trading, with an advance/decline ratio of 29/41

The JSE Combined Index declined by 2,755.15 points or 0.70 per cent to close at 391,797.48.

The JSE Main Market Index was down 2,989.61 points or 0.77 per cent to close at 386,509.24, while the Junior Market Index advanced by 1.74 or 0.05 per cent to close at 3,379.82.

The JSE USD Equities Index was down 0.87 points or 0.91 per cent, to close at 214.38.

C&WJCCU Deferred Shares up 8.48 per cent to close at $1.79

Losers

SSLVC down 12.09 per cent to close at $0.80
Lumber Depot down 11.66 per cent closing at $3.03
Mayberry Investments down 9.71 per cent to close at $8.00
JMMB Group 7.50% Preference Shares down 6.90 per cent closing at $0.81
Eppley Caribbean SCC down 4.78 per cent to close at $40.00

Market volume

Some 80.658 million units valued at over $566.8 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were JMMB Group 7.50% Preference Shares, followed by Stanley Motta and then Kingston Wharves.
