Stock Round-up | TransJamaican Highway, JMMB Group among leaders

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) saw 96 stocks trading on Wednesday with 46 advancing, 34 declining and 16 trading firm.

Winners
TransJamaican Highway (US$) up 18.31 per cent to close at $0.01
JMMB Group (7.25% CR pref share) up 14.00 per cent to close at $1.71
JMMB Group (7.50%) up 11.84 per cent to close at $0.85
ISP Finance up 10 per cent to close at $41.80
CAC 2000, up 10 per cent to close at $8.25

Losers
Sagicor Real Estate down 12.97 per cent to close at $6.31
Consolidated Bakeries down 10.45 per cent to close at $1.20
Stationery & Office Supplies down 8.11 per cent to close at $5.55
Dolphin Cove down 6.95 per cent to close at $14.06
SSL Ventures up 8.11 per cent to close at 5.55

The JSE combined index had an advance/decline ratio of 46/34 going down by 516.07 points or 0.13 per cent to close at 391,052.58.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 676.11 points or 0.17 per cent to close at 385,698.46 while the Junior Market Index advanced by 11.26 points or 0.33 per cent to close at 3,389.66.

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 5.31 points or 2.53 per cent to close at 214.80.

Market volume
Some 7.808 million units valued at over $95.283 million. Volume leaders were Mailpac Group followed by Consolidated Bakeries and TransJamaican Highway.
