Stocks Round Up | Ciboney today's top advancer

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index opened the week in decline on Monday.

The moderate trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 42/49.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 2,842.58 points or 0.82 per cent, to close at 343,439.95.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 2,896.62 points or 0.87 per cent to close at 329,138.31; while the Junior Market Index declined by 15.27 points or 0.38 per cent to close at 3,968.96.

The JSE USD Equities declined by 7.40 points or 2.88 per cent to close at 249.02.

IronRock Insurance up 10.00 per cent to close at $2.75

JMMB Group 7.00% Cr Prefs down 15.55 per cent closing at $2.01
JPS 7%, down 14.59 per cent to close at $57.80
Spur Tree Spices down 13.20 per cent to close at $2.17
Access Finance down 11.69 per cent to close at $22.66.

Market volume

Some 23.37 million units valued at over $192.37 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were: FESCO, followed by Transjamaican, and Dolla Financial.
