Wedding party by Clooney

George Clooney is

reportedly throwing a party in Buckinghamshire next week to celebrate his wedding. The 53-year-old hunk and his belle, Amal Alamuddin, 36, who got married in Venice last month, are having a private bash at the lavish Danesfield House, which overlooks the River Thames, on Friday

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Amal has a lot of her family in the UK, so it made sense for them to hold another bash here, following last month's wedding."

The newly-weds recently splashed out £10 million on their first marital home - a plush Georgian riverside

mansion in the small village of Sonning Eye, Oxfordshire, central England.

George already owns several properties, including a mansion in Lake Como, Italy, and a home in Los Cabos, Mexico, where he counts Cindy Crawford as his next door neighbour.

Tough times for Hough

Derek Hough had a gun held to his head by bullies when he was younger. The Dancing with the Stars professional feared for his life when his fellow aggressive students threatened to shoot him through the head when he was at school.

Speaking about the

ongoing abuse he received at the time, he said:

"Bullying can be physical, verbal or emotional. Words and threats are just as painful as fists, especially with social media these days."

"For those of you who don't know, I was actually bullied as a young boy on one occasion. They would tie my ankles up with a very rough rope and hang me in a tree upside down, spit on me and call me names, even hold a gun to my head. Coming from a family of hunters, I assumed the gun was real. I didn't tell anybody - my parents or teachers or friends or sisters."

The 29-year-old hunk turned to dance to help him block out the distressing ordeal he endured at school.

Madonna considers X Factor

Madonna has agreed to appear on the final of The X Factor - providing certain conditions are met.

The 56 year-old singer has been urged by the show's creator, Simon Cowell, to appear on the last show in the current series in a bid to boost flagging ratings. But a source close to the star insists she will only do so if she has a significant degree of creative control over her own performance.

The source told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Madonna will have been provisionally booked because the final can be subject to change if an artiste doesn't approve of the finalists - especially if they have agreed to sing with them." What's more, the source revealed that there are certain conditions the Like a Virgin singer must adhere to if she is to appear the show, too.

The proposed appearance could help boost sales of Madonna's next album, which is due to go on sale shortly after the live final. (GRAMMY...)

Alba takes risk on kids

Jessica Alba thinks having children is one of the biggest risks she has ever taken. The 33 year-old actress, who has daughters Honor, six, and Haven, three, with husband Cash Warren, says it was difficult to take some time away from her Hollywood career in favour of starting a family when she was 28.

Asked about some of the most daring things she has done in life, the brunette beauty said: "Even becoming a mother was risky. It meant cooling off from this business, which was all I had known my entire life. I had to peace-out at 28, completely shift my priorities, and not be apologetic and not care about the consequences."

But Jessica, whose eco-friendly brand The Honest Company is worth almost US$1 billion, believes she changed a lot when she turned 30 in 2011. She added to Harper's Bazaar magazine: "After I turned 30, I became more daring as a woman. Having a successful company had a hand in that. I've set my priorities in a different place, with my children and my family. I dared to look at projects outside of Hollywood, and I'm so happy that I did. (FILM...)

Drew eager for big 40

Drew Barrymore can't wait to turn 40 years old.

The Blended actress, who has daughters Olive, two, and Frankie, six months, with husband Will Kopelman, insists she isn't worried or upset about celebrating the milestone next February.

She said: "When I turn 40 on February 22, I'm going to heave a huge sigh of relief. "I'm so happy to be there. I really am. You work so hard to get there, and it's just awesome."

The 39 year-old star also can't wait for her eldest daughter to get a little older, so she can inherit her favourite designer shoes. She said: "I can't wait until Olive can fit into my high heels. I have a wonderful shoe collection, but none of them fit since I had the girls."

red. I'd really love to go back to it. I think redheads are the sexiest creatures because they have an exotic beauty like no one else on the planet." (GOLDEN...)
