As the Heineken Cities campaign winds down, two lucky persons are steps closer to winning a trip to the Big Apple. The excitement of the city awaits, as the winners will have the opportunity to enjoy the many scenic spots and attractions in the city.

Heineken Cities is an under-the-crown summer consumer promotion aimed at exciting and encouraging consumers to enter for a chance to win one of two trips and prizes valued at more than $3.5 million.

Winners can take in and enjoy places like Times Square, a major commercial intersection and neighbourhood in Midtown Manhattan, which boasts the famed Broadway theatre district and a major centre of the world's entertainment industry. Times Square is one of the world's most visited tourist attractions, drawing an estimated 50 million visitors annually. Another attraction, the Empire State Building, is a 102-storey skyscraper, the fifth-tallest completed skyscraper in the United States and the 25th tallest in the world. It is also the fifth-tallest freestanding structure in the Americas. The Empire State Building is generally thought of as an American cultural icon.

CENTRAL PARK

Next on the travel guide list is Central Park. It is an urban 843-acre park in the central part of the borough of Manhattan, and is the most visited urban park in the United States as well as one of the most filmed locations in the world, hence why it is a must-see.

Last but not the least is the Radio City Music Hall. Movie premieres and feature runs have occasionally taken place there, such as the Harry Potter film series, but the focus of the theatre is now on concerts and live stage shows. The Music Hall has presented most of the leading pop and rock performers over the last 30 years, as well as televised events, including the Grammy Awards, the Tony Awards, the Daytime Emmy Awards, the MTV Video Music Awards, and the NFL Draft.

"The Heineken brand is known for creating adventures for consumers, and this promotion will do exactly that, by allowing two lucky winners a chance to open their world and win an exciting escapade to either New York or London," said Imru James, brand manager, Heineken.
