Groovin In the Park 2016 takes place this Sunday, June 26, at Roy Wilkins Park in Queens, New York. The star studded line-up this year boasts Grammy Award winners Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle, plus Brian McKnight, NBC 'Voice' season five winner Tessanne Chin, Beres Hammond, Toots Hibbert and Duane Stepheson.

"We promise to create a truly extraordinary concert experience for our music lovers attending this year's event. The ambience in the park will be unforgettable, and luxury facilities are in place for all our patrons, especially those in the VIP and VVIP sections" said Christopher Robert, founder and CEO of Groovin Inc.

"We meticulously selected just the right mix of R&B and reggae acts so patrons would have a grand time. All the artistes are excited and upbeat about the festival, and they all plan to deliver memorable performances."

Roberts pointed out that over the last few days, there has been a upswing in interest from NBC's 'Voice' winner Tessanne Chin. She made an appearance on the morning show at WPIX on Thursday and, among her hectic schedule of interviews orchestrated by Images Media LLC is one with Vanity Fair magazine, as well as New York 1 television, Sirius Satellite Radio and WBAI Radio. Tessanne has been a favourite among New Yorkers since she first appeared on 'The Voice' three years ago.

Gates for Groovin in the Park open at 11 a.m. on Sunday and the event typically continues until just after dark.
