Groovin In The Park 2016 blends R&B, reggae
Groovin In the Park 2016 takes place this Sunday, June 26, at Roy Wilkins Park in Queens, New York. The star studded line-up this year boasts Grammy Award winners Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle, plus Brian McKnight, NBC 'Voice' season five winner Tessanne Chin, Beres Hammond, Toots Hibbert and Duane Stepheson.

Roberts pointed out that over the last few days, there has been a upswing in interest from NBC's 'Voice' winner Tessanne Chin. She made an appearance on the morning show at WPIX on Thursday and, among her hectic schedule of interviews orchestrated by Images Media LLC is one with Vanity Fair magazine, as well as New York 1 television, Sirius Satellite Radio and WBAI Radio. Tessanne has been a favourite among New Yorkers since she first appeared on 'The Voice' three years ago.
Gates for Groovin in the Park open at 11 a.m. on Sunday and the event typically continues until just after dark.
