Chart Watch iTunes | Conkarah’s EP debuts at number three

Timeless Love, a six-track EP by Conkarah, is the top-placed new set on the iTunes top 100 reggae albums listing for just before 7 a.m. yesterday. It is at number three, behind the Bob Marley and the Wailers Legend pair of the Remastered and Deluxe editions (in that order), which are just about fixtures at first and second, respectively.

The usual suspects are there in the top 10 - two Iration albums in Time Bomb (number 8) and Hotting Up (10); a Stick Figure double with Set in Stone (7) and Burial Ground (9). Rebelution's Falling into Place is fourth and there are a couple more Marley sets - Daddy along with the Wailers at number five with Gold and the son Damian's combination set with Nas' Distant Relatives (Bonus Track Version) in the sixth spot.

It is number 19 before there is some unaccustomed activity - and even then, it is an old release in Black Uhuru's Red, which has a release year of 1980. The Santiago Riddim, a new release, holds the number 29 spot. Among the songs on that set are Jah Love is Real (Sizzla), Jah Protect My Life (Capleton), Nothing Nah Gwan (Lutan Fyah) and Street Life (Munga Honourable).

Another recent release making the iTunes list is The Vitals 808 EP, Vol II, which holds the number 53 slot. It has a release date of February 16, 2017. It is the beginning of a good run for newer releases, as just behind is the EP Luminosity (Jason J), which has a release date of February 28, 2017. The new release Fall Forward (Cover Drive) is at number 55 and at number 56 is the new release Ganja Bizness Riddim.

Tracks on that various artistes set include Breakfast (Gappy Ranks), Feeling Irie (Chino) and Stay High on the Low (Bobby Hustle).
