To add to its repertoire, Jamaica's authentic grapefruit beverage, Ting, has joined a distinguished line-up of sponsors for the annual AFROPUNK series of events.

Ting is expected to infuse a taste of Jamaica and pure 'Jamaicaness' at each of the stagings.

AFROPUNK is the most multicultural festival in the US. It has its origins in Brooklyn, New York, but has grown beyond, offering dates in Paris, London, Atlanta and Johannesburg. AFROPUNK always promises an eclectic line-up and an audience as diverse as the acts they come to see.

AFROPUNK has redefined the modern multicultural experience globally with the mission of unleashing the freedom of expression and honouring the power of individuality while strengthening the community. A series of parties, film screenings, and fashion shows have already been held as a lead up to the major festival which kicked off in Paris, France, this past weekend - July 15 and 16.

"We are excited to be on board with our brand, Ting is all about authenticity and we support this movement. We'll be creating a Jamaican experience at the events, with Ting offering Ting 'mocktails' and giving away freebies at our Tiki Hut bar that will be the ultimate chill spot for patrons," said Carla Hollingsworth, export marketing manager, Ting.

AFROPUNK creates an atmosphere for freedom of expression, empowering the masses, defying convention and celebration identity, and with the addition of Ting, it's sure to be a hit with attendees. Other show dates include London - July 22 and 23, Brooklyn - August 26 and 27, Atlanta - October 14 and 15, and Johannesburg - December 30 and 31, 2017.

"We are so excited to partner with Ting! As a British West Indian, I cannot think of a more authentic brand for me personally to work with. Ting means home, family, true cultural comfort and community for me. I cannot wait to share it with my French, British, American and African brethren," said Matthew Morgan, founder of AFROPUNK.
