Matterhorn is Reggae Sumfest Heavyweight sound clash champ

Dancehall selector Tony Matterhorn, has been declared the winner of the inaugural Reggae Sumfest Heavyweight sound clash competition.

The event which was held at Pier One in Montego Bay, saw patrons turning out in their numbers to witness the action.

Tony Matterhorn won over the likes of Warrior Sound international, Yaadbeat from Japan, New York's Soul Supreme and No Limit Sound, winning the title and $500,000 cash prize..

Reggae Sumfest continues tonight at Catherine Hall with Night One featuring some of Jamaica’s top dancehall acts on show.
