Dream Weekend 2019 kicks off in Negril tomorrow with an event series that organisers promise will showcase the very best in entertainment. The 11th staging of the event will see patrons experience larger-than-life venue set-ups, drink offerings and performances from some of local music’s biggest names.

The Caribbean’s largest party experience will kick off with Twisted Spirits and wrap on August 6 with Dream J’Ouvert. Spice, Capleton, Ding Dong, Alkaline, Kemar Highcon, Munga, Teejay and international act Safaree are set to dominate separate events. This represents the largest artiste spread in Dream Weekend history. With the ‘Fireman’ Capleton set to ignite crowd favourite Yush, and the Uptop Boss Teejay set to deliver alongside Hot Frass for Igloo, patrons can expect the most epic party experience of the season.

“No two Dream events are ever the same; when we curate an event for our patrons, we guarantee that the following year will be even more fulfilling. This is our 11th year and we can safely say ‘larger than life’, because that is the atmosphere in which we will be partying this weekend. We have one of the largest artiste line-ups in the history of Dream Weekend and they are spread across the events so everyone can have that experience. Dream 2019 is set to be the best yet,” shared Carlos Phillpotts, director of marketing and public relations, Dream Entertainment.

With five days of pulsating music, energy and vibe ahead of them partygoers will start to descend on the western Jamaica party capital in droves. Online tickets to the events are sold out. Consumers can purchase physical tickets at select outlets, including the Dream Weekend Redemption Centre, Woodstock Bar and Grill, along the Seven Mile Beach.

Twisted Spiritz and Celebrity Playground are slated for Wavz Beach; Wonderland will host Daydreams, World Vibes and Igloo; while Dream J’Ouvert and Yush will take place at Cayenne Beach. Wet and Wild will entertain patrons from its native Kool Runnings Water Park, while Mawnin After will stir patrons from Island Lux.
