Kiwanis celebrates 26 years and counting
Hard work does pay off when associated with the Kiwanis Club of New Kingston.
As a part of the club's 26th Anniversary celebrations, a number of dedicated individuals were awarded for their hard work at the club's annual awards and honours function last Wednesday at the ICAJ Office Building on Ruthven Road, Kingston.
Students, members of the media, and corporate entities, were recognised for their invaluable service to the club for the year 2014-2015.
The presentations were made before the cutting of the 26th Anniversary cake by some of the past distinguished presidents of the club.
The Kiwanis Club of New Kingston is the first all-female club in the Kiwanis movement in Jamaica, under the principles of Kiwanis International.
Guests were served a plethora of delicious hors d'oeuvres while being entertained by Gary White.
