Nestled along the busy street of Haining Road, New Kingston, is Cafe Delite, an oasis with a rustic backdrop offering patrons of fine dining.

According to proprietor Colin Anthony Bruce the aim is to expand fine dining with simplicity.

When Food visited the location the menu of the day included brown stewed fish, fried fish, steamed fish, smoked marlin, pasta, Italian salad, garden salad, barbecued and roasted chicken along with tropical rice and yam.

 

Refreshing beverages

 

Refreshing beverages such as pink lemonade, fruit punch and pina colada were also available to accompany the scrumptious meals.

A trained chef, Bruce, shared that his greatest feeling comes from satisfying those he serves daily.

"I often do catering, and when a customer expresses satisfaction about the service here, there is no better feeling," Bruce said.

The Manchester native who has a dietician onboard to assist with well-balanced menus, shared: "I appreciate the value of working from the bottom and whatever you are preparing do the best, which is what I practice daily," Bruce said.
