Toss and Roll Salad Bar is no stranger to us, especially when it comes to a healthy lifestyle. this is the number one source for delicious, mouth-watering and nutritious dishes.

In an interview with Food, owner Orando Stennett stated that Toss and Roll is a family business which has been around for years. It was first introduced on May 10, 2013, to the people within the Trafalgar area by Jermaine Bailey, wife Keisha and sister-in-law Shanna Lee Bennett. Stennett continued ,“ Shanna had a vision of making persons stay healthy, and she figured the most appropriate way to do so was to start a food establishment to promote health eating.”

At Toss and Roll Salad Bar they don’t just cater for vegetarians, they try to cater for everyone. They use vegetables such as cucumber, lettuce, tomato, peppers, green and sweet; black olives, onions, with protein-rich products such as chicken or shrimp; these can be served with a vast amount of dressing. Customers are given the opportunity to select their own toppings.

They also specialise in the making of homemade fruit smoothies that can be used to complement their new honey jerk salad or honey jerk wrap.

Try these recipes to keep in shape.

Berry Fusion smoothie – (frozen fruit)


- 2oz Blueberry

- 4oz strawberry

- 4oz pineapple


Combine all fruits with ice in a blender and blend until smooth.


Honey jerk chicken breast


- walkerwood Jerk seasoning

- ¼cup honey

- ¼cup water

- ½lb chicken breast


Marinate chicken breast with jerk seasoning to taste then pack away in bag. keep refrigerated overnight until ready to cook. Combine honey and water to base chicken.

Heat oil in a pot to prevent the chicken from sticking. Cook each side for only 5 minutes base chicken with honey mixture.
