Three cocktails to try with Appleton Estate 8 Year Old Reserve
Enjoy the expression named Best Extra-Aged Rum at home
The Appleton Estate 8 Year Old Reserve has received international acclaim with its recent award as the Best Extra-Aged Rum, according to the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, which concluded in April. A panel of over 30 experts named the expression to the top position in this category.
With a brilliant honeyed bronze colour and a subtle green ring of ageing, owing to being aged for a minimum of 8 years in once-used bourbon oak barrels, the 8 Year Old Reserve is a rich, full-bodied rum with a smooth, complex and sophisticated taste, with intense flavours of molasses, warm oak, vanilla, holiday spice, and the brand’s signature orange peel top note – a result of being distilled in copper stills.
While smooth and balanced enough to warrant an elevated sipping experience, the Appleton Estate 8 Year Old Reserve is the key ingredient to creating extraordinary, sophisticated cocktails.
