A quantity of assorted ammunition was handed over to the Police by members of a church group in Duhaney Park, St Andrew yesterday.

According to the Duhaney Park Police, about 4:30 p.m., citizens and members of a church group were on religious mission in the Patrick City area of Duhaney Park when they were approached by a motorcyclist who handed over a sock containing 13 12-gauge cartridges and 25 9mm rounds.

The sock containing the ammunition was then handed over to the police.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force's Corporate Communications Unit said last night that investigations were continuing into the incident.
