A youngster enjoys one of the arcade games at Buzzers in Portmore, St Catherine, as The Angels of Love Jamaica celebrated Paediatric Cancer Awareness Month with a fun-filled event last Sunday.

Fourteen of the charity's 'little angels', accompanied by their guardians, were treated to exciting games and snacks for hours, a much-welcomed break from their usual regime from hospital to home.

Each child was gifted with a goodie bag consisting of customised teddy bears from Island Dolls and back to school items.

The month's celebrations will continue with a volunteering session at the Bustamante Children's Hospital, a blood drive, participation in a charity 5K run, and a balloon release ceremony to commemorate children who have died from cancer.
