Sinclair-Haynes is appointed Judge of the Court of Appeal
Supreme Court Judge Almarie Sinclair-Haynes has been appointed a judge of the Court of Appeal.
She will be sworn in on Monday by Governor General Sir Patrick Allen.
Sinclair-Haynes is being appointed in place of Justice Mahadev Dukharan, who went on pre-retirement leave last week. Dukharan's retirement will take effect in July next year. He was appointed to the Court of Appeal Bench in November 2008.
Sinclair Haynes acted in the Court of Appeal from January to July this year. She was appointed a resident magistrate in 1989 and a Puisne Judge in 2006.
