Starting this week, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information (MoEYI) will be utilising the RJRGLEANER Communications Group’s latest addition to its family of media platforms – 1spotEXTRA1 and 1spotEXTRA2 channels.

One of the channels, which is being engaged by the ministry, will allow students to access the ministry’s classes on their phones, tablets or smart television sets wherever they are. The other is being provided to the ministry free of charge for the Christmas term as part of Television Jamaica’s contribution to national development.

The channels will be called School Time and School Time Maths for the duration of the MoEYI’s use and will each deliver 24 hours of content for students in live and recorded formats until December 18.

Designed to meet the unique needs of our clients in this time of physical distancing, the 1spotEXTRA audiovisual channels reside on the trendsetting 1spotmedia platform that has more than 500,000 registered users globally, with more than 50 per cent of these users being in Jamaica.

They will provide a significant boost to the teachers and students wading through the new COVID-19 era of schooling.

The RJRGLEANER Communi-cations Group is offering these flexible channels options to clients who desire to reach critical stakeholders on an Internet or mobile data-based platform.

Like the MoEYI, clients will be able to rename these channels for short-term use with promotional support from the full force of the RJRGLEANER Communications Group, including but not limited to the 80 per cent reach of Television Jamaica.
