Probe into Beverly Hills mystery death
Detectives say no motive has yet been determined in the death of retired businessman Gerald Wight Sr, who was found at his Beverly Hills home face down in a pool of blood.
The 86-year-old was reportedly discovered by his son last Thursday.
Blood samples were also taken from other sections of the home, which was ransacked.
Head of the St Andrew Central Police Division, Senior Superintendent Marlon Nesbeth, told The Gleaner on Monday that “we are not classifying yet in any way of it being a murder … . With time, we will be able to come to the conclusion.”
Reports are that Wight Sr was found on a chair slumped over his bed by a son who was visiting the home in the upscale St Andrew community.
