Hammer drills running seven days a week
Gym noise blaring at nights
Garbage truck coming to empty refuse at 12 midnight
Blowers and bush cutters early in the morning.
These are the things the residents of Phoenix Avenue in the Kingston 10 area have to put up with thanks to our 'great corporate neighbour' JMMB.
It just seems as if the country is only for certain people. In the 1970s, the firebrand D.K. Duncan, as the minister of mobilisation, was influential in running people out of the country. Now, the younger generation is running us out of our communities.
Maybe because they have resources to establish a commercial property in a residential area, thereby imposing these inconveniences on residents while they live in the comfort of their homes in Cherry Gardens and Norbrook.
