Appeal to Sagicor re lapsed policy

THE EDITOR, Sir:

This is an open letter to the chief executive officer of Sagicor Group and Sagicor Life.

Over the past 10 years, I have been having grave financial difficulties, and as a result I have the recurrent situation where I frequently come in to your head office to literally scavenge for funds from my five insurance policies.

I keep these policy contracts together and tender them all at the window whenever I am extracting funds.

While I take full responsibility for the good health of my policies, I also expect that should something go wrong with any of my payments, I would be cautioned by the attendant at the window.

To my shock and disbelief, my Triple Protector #002039768 has lapsed without my being aware for more than three years, accruing some $45,000 in charges in order for reinstatement.

I plead with your company to help me to reinstate this policy since I am totally out of pocket, as you may now deduce.
