Reflections of 2020
THE EDITOR, Madam:
As we embark on a new year, let us take some time to reflect on our successes and failures to see how we can, as individuals, go forward by God’s grace. The year 2020 has been an eye-opener for many. We have learnt that human beings are like grass; our beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flowers fade.
We have cried, we have fought, and some of us prayed to see the end of the crisis and pain. More than one million people have died from COVID-19, and others from its socio-economic effects. My objective is to encourage all readers to look within themselves to find, develop and maximise their talents and abilities before it’s too late.
We are here for a purpose, so let’s be grateful for all that we have, because all have come from dust and all will return to dust.
