Men are not evil, they are the victims
THE EDITOR, Madam
The articles on domestic violence is the familiar, half-baked feminist analysis that assumes women are victims, instead of the manipulative victimisers they often are. They always tell women’s versions of stories, as if they are the gospel truth, and you do not have the foresight to see that nothing good comes of making a political issue of private conflicts between men and women, because that only leads to more and more calibrated chess games between the sexes – perhaps played out expensively in courtrooms, as we often see in the United States and the United Kingdom.
“Abuse” is always defined to serve the interests of women, and women’s testimonials are taken as proof that there is abuse in a marriage, as if women don’t lie about these matters. Even when a man physically attacks a woman, the question to ask is, is he evil, selfish or aggressive, or is she deliberately provoking violence because she can later use it to her advantage?
Men are the great victims of modern civilisation. The brightest men are smarter than the brightest women. Men invent, create and deploy most of the technologies that raise our standards of living, perform most of the difficult and dangerous jobs in society, and pay a heavy price for all the responsibilities they bear by living lives that, on average, are shorter than the lives of women. And yet, “opinion leaders” continue to tilt the scales further and further in favour of women.
Men of the world, unite! Put a stop to this!
