Are we still enslaved?

THE EDITOR, Madam:

Is this JAMAICA in 2021 or 1821? What really happened to 19-year-old Nzinga King at the Four Paths Police Station in Clarendon, Jamaica, as was reported in the media yesterday?

Emancipation and Independence remain a scam, a fleeting illusion, as are constitutional and human rights. This, our sister, is like us blacks who were raped, violated, traumatised and abused by our own dumb, deaf and blind system. No money can pay for that, no lawsuit can address that it is the slave system in us that needs destruction. We were all violated in this apartheid slave system in Jamaica, the birthplace of Rastafari.

Queen Nzinga King, the liberation movement has begun in this another ‘Bad Friday’ Coral Gardens that is unearthed all over again.

The curriculum at all educational and training institutions, including the security forces, must include teaching history and human rights.
