Scotiabank making customers run from pillar to post
THE EDITOR, Madam:
For the past two months, I have been driving between New Kingston and Hope Road in an effort to secure deposit slips and/or the use of the drop box at Scotiabank. This morning, I was advised to go either to Half-Way Tree or Cross Roads to use the drop box.
Is it so difficult to print enough deposit slips and to have functioning drop boxes during these times? Surely, the banks could improvise using paper or envelopes, a locked box, and a bank clerk to stamp receipts when technology fails.
It is ridiculous to be driving all over the city or joining long lines for a simple transaction.
Scotiabank can do better!
