Sir Garfield Sobers, greatest of all time

All the cricket lovers of cricket-playing countries unfortunately missed out to enjoy the game of the West Indies One-Day International (ODI) team in the ongoing ODI Cricket World Cup being played in India.

However, as far as the Indian cricket fans are concerned, we enjoyed a video of the legendary all-rounder and a diamond of the West Indies cricket, Sir Garfield Sobers. Sir Garfield recently visited the touring Indian cricket team at the practice session in Kensington Oval in Barbados. Sobers, along with his wife, met Indian players like skipper Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubhaman Gill, Shardul Thakur, Ajinkya Rahane, and coach Rahul Dravid as well.

He was all praise for the Indian squad and said the people of the region always feel nice whenever the Indian team tours the West Indies. Sobers was nostalgic to remember former Indian cricketers like Farokh Engineer and Bishan Singh Bedi, who passed away just recently.

Sir Garfield is not just the greatest ever all-rounder, but he is great person by heart as well.
