Dancehall artiste Sizzla, whose real name is Miguel Collins, has been fined $1,000 for the use of expletives.

The entertainer appeared at the petty session of the Falmouth Resident Magistrate Court today.

He was charged after delivering an expletive laced performance on the grounds of the new Falmouth Police Station early Saturday morning.

Hundreds were in attendance at the concert, including community leaders and high ranking policemen.

Sizzla was invited to perform in good faith by the Police Community Safety & Security Branch, an outreach arm of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

Following the performance, the entertainer was taken from the stage and charged.
