The Clarendon police have launched a manhunt for two men who allegedly held up and murdered a taxi man last night.

The police theorise that the taxi man was killed in connection to a dispute over a woman.

The dead man has since been identified as Anthony Morgan otherwise called 'Fatta' of Wood Hall district in the parish.

It is reported that about 7:30 yesterday evening the two men boarded the taxi man's vehicle at Guinep Tree in May Pen with three other passengers aboard.

The taxi was destined for Wood Hall.

On reaching an area called Buckner, the men allegedly slashed the driver’s throat and shot him twice.

The men reportedly escaped on foot into nearby bushes.

The other three passengers were unharmed.
