UWI lecturer, Charmaine Henry dies
Lecturer at the Mona campus of the University of the West Indies, UWI, Charmaine Henry, has died.
She died this morning following a period of illness.
Henry taught communications and public relations at the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC).
CARIMAC lecturer, Fae Ellington, says Henry was a very enthusiastic person who enjoyed a good relationship with her students.
Henry was pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy degree up to the time of her illness.
Many of her former students have reacted with shock on social media.
