15-y-o boy caught driving stolen taxi arrested after high-speed police chase

A 15-year-old boy, who was intercepted driving a stolen taxi, has been arrested by police in Heroes Circle in Kingston.

According to the police, a team was driving along North Street in Kingston when they observed a grey Toyota Probox driving erratically.

The police team gave chase after the driver disobeyed several red lights in the area.

While pursuing the car, the police team was notified that it had been reported stolen.

The chase took the police team on to South Camp Road, Camp Road and on to Marescaux Road where the taxi hit a motor vehicle in the vicinity of the Wolmer’s Girls’ School.

The driver then turned into Heroes Circle where he was surrounded by a team of police officers who arrested him.
