A security guard is the latest person to be murdered in Clarendon by the gun.

Thirty-one-year old Orville Eccleston otherwise known as Mark, of Bucks Heights in the parish was one of two men who were shot while at a shop.

It has been reported that the victims were at a shop playing cards when men armed with guns walked up and opened fire hitting Eccelston in the head and left leg.

They were rushed to hospital where Eccleston died while undergoing treatment.

The other man’s condition is not known at this time.

The police have since launched an investigation into that shooting, however, no motive has been established.

Eccleston is the fourth person killed in Bucks Common within the last two weeks, following the double murder of 25-year-old Allayne Watt and 36-year-old Oreth Wilson, before the gun slaying of another youngster, 22-year-old Tywayne Beckford.
