NWC says Porus Pumping Station operating at 50 per cent

The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers served by the Porus Pumping Station in Manchester that the facility is currently operating at 50 per cent of its capacity.

As a result, the NWC says some customers will experience either low water pressure or intermittent supply.

Areas affected include Porus, Trinity, Red Berry, Comfort, Williamsfield, Kendal, sections of New Green, Ingleside, and Grey Ground.

The NWC says every effort is being made to resolve the operational challenges and restore full supply to the affected communities by Monday, September 7.
