A week after its 77th Annual Conference in Kingston, the People's National Party (PNP) is to hold its usual National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.

The NEC meeting will be held at the Grand Bahia Principe Hotel in Runaway Bay, St Ann on Sunday and the party says only accredited members will be allowed to participate.

During the meeting, elections will be held for the positions of chairman, deputy chairman and 11 members to the PNP's executive committee.

The party says the NEC will also review and approve the PNP's programme of work for the new political year and will hear from its president, Portia Simpson Miller.
