Baby Heartbeat Listener for Android

The Baby Heartbeat Listener is for non-medical usage, but expecting mothers and fathers can monitor their baby's heart beat by placing the microphone of the Android device on the abdomen. The app works to filter and amplify the sound it receives. However, users will hear better if they utilise headphones/earphones, and the quality of sound is dependent on the position and development period. The quality varies among phone models. Baby Heartbeat Listener accommodates 4MB of internal memory, and requires Android 3.0 or later.

Who's Your Daddy for Apple (iPhone)

Mobile applications for prenatal care, pregnancy guidelines and mothers-to-be are ever so common. Hence the need for an app that is directed to fathers-to-be. The Who's Your Daddy smartphone application was created for men by men to teach men on the basic steps of pregnancy, how to cope with the expecting mother, and provides short tutorials that will benefit both parents before, during and after the birth of the child. It is available on iTunes app store even though it's last update was over a year ago

Pregnancy Plus for Windows

Expectant parents can utilise the Pregnancy Plus mobile application to follow tutorials on the pregnancy, growth and birth process, including three-dimensional images. Essential items for the baby, a shopping list and baby names can be found within Pregnancy Plus. Through the app, which will be constantly updated with new information, the users can add their personal information and log doctor's appointments, among other things. There are also diet plans and health guidelines for the expectant mothers to prepare them for pregnancy and the birthing process.
