A top military commander during the May 2010 operations this morning recounted how his troops stumbled upon a cache of more that 4,000 assorted rounds of ammunition.

Major Marlon Kennedy told the West Kingston Commission of Enquiry that the ammunition were contained in plastic bottles left in the trunk of a car that was parked outside Christopher Dudus Coke's Presidential Click offices in the Java section of Tivoli Gardens.

According to Kennedy, who was the commanding officer for Alpha Company second battalion the Jamaica Regiment, the ammunition were for M-16 and AK-47 assault rifles as well as 9 millimetre handguns.
