Seven arrested as MOCA vamps up anti-lottery scam activities

The Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) says heightened anti-lottery scam activities over the last two weeks have resulted in the arrest of seven persons from 15 operations in St James and Hanover.
It says four of these persons were subsequently charged for Breaches of the Law Reform Act on October 22.
Those charged are 18-year-old Damian Ottey; 23-year-old Oshane Ottey; 25-year-old Joseph Anderson; and 19-year-old Dashane Dixon.
They are all unemployed and of Prosper Road, Lucea, Hanover addresses.
The men are to appear in court next week.
