Twenty-three young savers with the Jamaica Defence Force Credit Union (JDFCU) Treasure Chest Youth Scholarship Awards Programme received bursaries amounting to $1 million at a recent presentation ceremony at the credit union offices at Up Park Camp.

The programme, which was launched in 2007, was set up to reward young savers who show outstanding performance in the Primary and Secondary Schools exit examinations and needy children of members of the JDFCU to advance their education.
