Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey has put off until Thursday, the hearing of the applications for the immediate release of the four persons arrested in relation to the alleged contract killing of Manchester businesswoman, Norma Coleman.

Attorney at law, Oswest Senior Smith, says the magistrate indicated that she could not hear an application on behalf of his client, Vincent Coleman, today.

Vincent is the husband of the murdered businesswoman.

Senior Smith says the magistrate indicated that lawyers for the three accused policemen filed applications in court yesterday seeking their release.

According to the lawyer, RM Pusey indicated that she was informed that the Director of Public Prosecutions is looking into case.

He says the magistrate then indicated that she would hear the applications for the accused persons on Thursday.

The 61-year-old businesswoman was shot dead on Confidence Avenue in Mandeville on October 23.
