JPS explains widespread Clarendon power outage

The Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) is reporting that most of its customers in Clarendon are experiencing a power outage. 

In a post on its social media accounts a short while ago, the power company said the outage is caused by a fault in its transmission system. 

The JPS says its work crews are making every effort to restore power to the affected areas in the shortest possible time.
