The police have located the female in an alleged online sex video who is believed to have been sexually assaulted.

She is expected to give a statement to the police later today.

The Children's Advocate Diahann Gordon Harrison told The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre that the female is an adult.

She says as a result, her office is no longer involved in the process.

The Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) has been investigating the matters since the video emerged on the Internet yesterday.

The video has sparked outrage on Facebook, with hundreds calling for sanctions against the alleged perpetrator whose name was called several times in the video by the woman.

At one point, the woman told the man that he would not like what he was doing to her, to be done to his female relatives.

The three minute and 33 second video is mostly blurred and shouting and screams can be heard several times.

Meanwhile, posts on a Facebook page bearing the first name of the man mentioned in the video, suggested that the video was published out of anger.

He rejected accusations of rape.
