Minor, adult in custody over illegal gun

Two persons, including a minor, remain in police custody in relation to the seizure of an illegal gun in Montego Bay in St James.
The two were accosted by the police yesterday.
The police say they are yet to be questioned.
It's reported that about 1:45 p.m. yesterday, a police team went to Jenkins Corner after receiving information that a minor was seen with a gun.
They say a property was searched and .38 semi-automatic pistol seized.
The police say the owner of the premises and the minor were then taken into custody.
