At morning devotions on Monday, radio broadcaster Markland 'Action' Edwards sang, prayed, offered words of encouragement to students and teachers and donated $50,000 towards the computer lab of his alma mater, Braeton Primary and Junior High School, St Catherine.

The gesture was made through Edwards' gospel promotions company, Action Entertainment, the Credit Unions of Jamaica Gosplash 2015 on August 1, in collaboration with the RJR Communications Group on August 1, at Sugarman's Beach, St Catherine.

"I had to honour my commitment, as part proceeds was promised to the school's computer lab," Edwards said. Action Entertainment will continue to work with the school to ensure that the lab gets an adequate number of computers. Edwards also said all sponsors are on board for next year's Gosplash concert.
