Dead baby found in Portmore, police appeal for help to identify body

The police are appealing to the public for help in identifying the body of an infant that was found in Gregory Park in Portmore, St Catherine.

The police say the decomposing body, which is believed to be that of a six-weeks old baby, was found last Friday night.

It is reported that passersby stumbled upon the body on a dirt track, near a train line and alerted the Police.

The police say they found the body, processed the scene and removed the body to the morgue pending post mortem.
