West Kingston Enquiry adjourn early
The West Kingston Commission of Enquiry came to a premature end this morning at the Jamaica Conference Centre in downtown Kingston.
This after attorneys discovered discrepancies in the number of scenes visited by the police investigators after the May 2010 operations in Tivoli Gardens.
The Office of the Public Defender had asked the police scenes of crimes unit to visit 15 scenes in Tivoli Gardens.
However, this morning, Inspector Devon Harris, who was attached to the Area 4 Scenes of Crime Unit, indicated that nine of those scenes were visited.
He was responding to Commissioner of INDECOM, Terrence Williams who suggested that nine scenes were not visited.
This is the last week of the current session of public hearings for this year.
After breaking later this week, the enquiry will sit for the last time in February next year.
