President of the Nurses Association of Jamaica, Janet Farr.

President of the Nurses Association of Jamaica (NAJ), Janet Farr, says there is no truth to claims that the organisation is seeking to victimise former president Edith Allwood-Anderson.

Farr declined to comment any further stating that the matter is being handled by the NAJ’s lawyer.

She says the NAJ will not be making any further public statement on the matter.

Allwood-Anderson is reportedly alleging that the executive of the NAJ is taking steps to remove her as President Emeritus.

It is also reported that the NAJ is seeking to cut off benefits being given to the former president.
