The National Water Commission (NWC) has introduced another debt-forgiveness initiative called Cruncher Christmas Brawta which is aimed at collecting outstanding revenue.

The NWC says all current or inactive customers with accounts with outstanding amounts of 180 days or more can qualify for a 50-per cent debt write-off.

The utility company says the programme is open to all residential and commercial accounts.

It says condominium accounts may qualify for a concession of up to 25 per cent.

The NWC says the debt-forgiveness initiative began yesterday and will run until December 31.
