Sagicor's Blast Off is an annual team-building kick-off geared towards motivating and energising employees. The 2016 Blast Off theme, 'Sagicor Winning!' was reflected in the various presentations delivered on Saturday, January 16, at the Jamaica Conference Centre, downtown Kingston. Sagicor executives delivered strong addresses to their eager team members of financial and insurance advisers and administrative employees with the consistent message - winning.

Richard O. Byles, president and CEO of Sagicor Group, along with presenting a comprehensive review of 2015 and outlook for the coming year, charged team members to collect at least 10 pledges for this year's Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run. Byles said, "With everyone's input, the target of $50 million is achievable."

Keynote speaker Simon T. Bailey, renowned author and the leader of the Brilliance Movement helping people shift their thinking, reminded team members that when dealing with their clients, they need to "create the moment with an emotion, perception, connection, which will lead to continuous momentum and long lasting memories".
