Pollster Bill Johnson believes JLP leader Andrew Holness was surprised by the results of yesterday’s general elections.
He says this was evident in the victory speech given by Holness.
He says the PNP’s downfall was excessive confidence.
He says the PNP’s negative campaign also misfired and the party had failed to adequately respond to the plan by the JLP to give persons earning less than $1.5 million freedom from income tax.
