There has been another H1N1 death.
Health Minister, Dr Christopher Tufton confirmed the death today.
This brings the number of influenza A (H1N1) virus related deaths to seven.
The Ministry of Health is to issue a detailed update tomorrow, which will also include the number of Zika cases in Jamaica.
Last week, the government confirmed that there were five cases of the virus on the island.
Tufton indicated that additional cases of the virus were likely as more samples are sent for testing at the Virology Laboratory at the University of the West Indies.
