In March, the Transport Authority bought the 60, 676 sq. ft. Jamintel building.

The Transport Minister Mike Henry has ordered the board of the Transport Authority to immediately review the purchase of the Jamintel Building in downtown Kingston to house the authority's head office.

Henry says the review is to determine, the rationale for the acquisition of the building; its suitability as the headquarters for the Transport Authority; and the cost and affordability of the purchase and proposed refurbishment of the building.
